Harriet CobbsHarriet Cobbs, Director and Pre-School/Kindergarten Co-Teacher
Ms. Cobbs earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Howard University in Washington, D.C.  She also has a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of the District of Columbia (Federal City Campus) and has extensive Montessori training with the Ami-St. Nicholas Training Center, London and the AMS-Michigan Montessori Teacher Education Center, USA.

Ms. Cobbs began her teaching career in the public schools of Washington, D.C.  After 12 years of teaching in public schools, she began a private day care in her home.  This small day care center, over the past 25 years, has grown into what is now Peach Tree.

Lisa SmithLisa Smith, Toddler Teacher
Ms. Lisa has an associate's degree in early childhood education and has been a staff member of the Peach Tree family for 18 years.  She has taught Montessori, general education, and life skills to many toddlers over the years.

Akane Zusho, Japanese Teacher
Miss Akane is originally from Japan and is pursuing her Ph.D. in education and psychology.  She teaches Japanese language and culture classes.

Patricia Cobbs, Infant Teacher
Miss Patty is an infant and toddler teacher. She has worked in child care on and off for 13 years and has attended numerous conferences and workshops on the subject. She has earned Montessori Paraprofessional Certification and has completed the Michigan Association Infant and Mental Health Certification training program and has received her certification from the Child Development Association.
